When winter settles it’s easy to think all is quiet until spring…
It may be wet, windy and chilly, but at group company Medemblik Yacht Services (MYS), our on-site service and refit division, our winters are always busy. And these past months have further evidenced our ongoing growth with the heated yacht storage halls full to the brim. This has meant also an interesting task list for our multi-skilled craftsmen and technicians, from tidying interiors and updating electronics to new engine installations and GRP repairs and a very busy hull painting schedule.
The largest of all projects has been our extensive renovation of Contest 62CS My Way (newly renamed) which with restyled interior, reworked cockpit and deck, new instrumentation, new livery, and even new keel, will relaunch for her new owner at the end of March.
