We are very pleased to announce that this spring sees the opening of our own new Contest dedicated service and sales centre in Palma, Mallorca. Here we can now extend the fullness of our support right into the heart and hub of Mediterranean sailing for all Contest owners whether visiting or based in these fine sailing grounds.
Fully operational from March, Contest Yachts Mediterranean is led by Mark van Gelderen whose sparkling yacht building and pro-circuit racing CV includes time as build supervisor and then captain of the magnificent Hoek-designed 35-metre Firefly, the first of the wonderful eye-candy, classically styled F-Class. A Dutchman determined always on high standards, Mark, who trained originally as a naval architect, is a seasoned facilitator and he’s looking forward to welcoming all Contest owners and their yachts, both new and old.
On offer is every level of yacht service and management from guardiennage to repair and refit, from brokerage to new boat sales, and from berthing to haul-out and hard-standing. Shipping is also within the portfolio as we share premises with our partner-provider Sevenstar Yacht Transport who are also newly setting up in Palma.
