With a terrific Sevenstar Contest Meeting Mallorca 2023 sailed and raced in the last week of September, we’re delighted here to share highlights including our photos!
This year, again at the RCNP Yacht Club, on the day before Friday’s first racing the incoming Contest fleet set a beautiful scene on the pontoons of the landmark, pristine white clubhouse where crews and cocktails enjoyed each other out on the pool-side terrace!
Waking to a windless morning, in frequent Palma fashion, the racing was delayed until after lunch when the sea breeze built, making for two keen races on windward-leeward courses in winds lifting to 14 knots. Then it was back to tapas and drinks on the terrace before a good dinner at Cappuccino’s in town.
Saturday dawned with a fuller forecast for the regatta’s coastal race which set the fleet off on time, in pursuit across the Bay of Palma, rounding the Isla del Sech before heading back to base and the afternoon prize-giving drinks party. Come the evening it was fine dining in the RCNP’s splendid Restaurante El Náutico, a real joy, including another of Palma’s famous delights, the stunning sunset spreading its palette of rich red shades over bay, city and now resting Contest fleet.
Great style, for a great weekend!

Stay tuned for more exciting developments and opportunities in the future. Building dreams together!
