We are pleased to report that Berthon USA, headquartered in Newport Rhode Island, will represent Contest Yachts as agent in the Eastern regions of the United States. Between them, company partners Jennifer Stewart and Alan Baines have many decades of specialising in the sale of high-end European brand sailboats. They will also assist Contest owners with their individual boat specifications and importation logistics.
Jennifer and Alan are delighted to have signed this new partnership agreement with Contest Yachts. “The yard’s strong values very much echo our own,” says Alan: "We have known and admired Contest for quite a while, and are greatly looking toward to the US debut next year of the exciting new aft cockpit Contest 42CS. Moreover, Berthon USA sees great potential for reintroducing and presenting the Contest fleet to the American market.”
